Regions
Manage regions within an association.
National Admins can view and manage all associations within their organization. Association Admins can view and manage their own association's details.
Overview
Regions are optional groupings inside an association. For example, "Northern California" is a region within the California FBLA association. Regions help manage chapters and conferences, and allow regional administrators access to data within their area of responsibility.
Viewing Regions
- Navigate to Settings > Administration > Regions in the sidebar.
- The page lists all regions you have access to.
- National Admins will see a Filter by Organization dropdown to narrow the list to a specific national organization.
- Each region card shows the region name and its parent association.
Creating a Region
Only National Admins and Association Admins can create new regions.
- Click Add Region at the top of the page.
- A form appears with the following fields:
- National Organization — select the parent national organization (National Admins only; auto-set for Association Admins)
- Association Name — the name of the association (e.g., "California FBLA")
- Region Name — the name of the region (e.g., "Northern California")
- Description — a brief description of the region
- Click Save to create the region.
Editing a Region
- Find the association in the list.
- Click the Edit (pencil) icon on the region card.
- The same form appears pre-filled with the current values.
- Modify the fields as needed. Note that the National Organization and Association Name cannot be changed after creation.
- Click Save to apply changes.
Deleting a Region
Deleting a region will remove it from the selector lists. A region cannot be deleted if it has chapters or conferences assigned to it. You will first need to reassign the chapters and conferences before deleting.
- Click the Delete (trash) icon on the region card.
- A confirmation dialog will appear asking you to confirm the deletion.
- Confirm to permanently remove the region.
