National Organization Settings
Configure settings for your national organization.
National Organization Settings are restricted to National Admins.
Overview
The National Organization Settings page provides centralized configuration for your national organization. Access it by navigating to Settings > Administration > Organization in the sidebar, then clicking on your organization.
The settings are organized into four sections, each accessible from a navigation card:
- General — organization name, description, and website
- Chapter Fields — custom field definitions for chapters
- Membership — member types, ID configuration, imports, and dues
- Billing — membership invoices and payments across chapters
General Settings
The General settings page manages your organization's basic information.
- From the settings hub, click the General card.
- Update the following fields:
- Organization Name — the display name of your national organization
- Description — a brief description of the organization
- Website — the organization's website URL
- Click Save Changes to apply.
Chapter Fields
Chapter Fields let you define custom data fields that all chapters in your organization must fill in. These fields appear on chapter profile forms.
- From the settings hub, click the Chapter Fields card.
- The page lists all currently defined custom fields.
- To add a field, click Add Field.
- Configure the field:
- Field Name — the label displayed to users (e.g., "School District")
- Field Key — a machine-readable key, auto-formatted to lowercase with underscores (e.g., "school_district")
- Field Type — select from Text, Textarea, Number, Date, Email, Phone, URL, or Dropdown
- Section — an optional grouping label (e.g., "School Information")
- Placeholder — hint text shown in the empty field
- Help Text — additional guidance shown below the field
- Required — whether chapters must fill in this field
- Options — for Dropdown type fields, enter one option per line
- Click Save Chapter Fields to apply.
To remove a field, click the Remove button on the field card.
Field keys must be unique across all fields. Removing a field will delete any data chapters have entered for that field.
Membership Settings
The Membership section has four tabs for managing how members are categorized and onboarded.
- From the settings hub, click the Membership card.
- Use the tabs to navigate between sections:
Member Types
The Member Types tab lets you define categories of members (e.g., Member, Officer, Advisor). See Member Types for full details.
ID Configuration
The ID Configuration tab controls how member IDs are generated and formatted within your organization.
Member Import
The Member Import tab provides tools for bulk importing members from external data sources such as CSV files.
Dues & Payment
The Dues & Payment tab configures membership dues amounts and payment policies for your organization.
Billing
The Billing page provides a complete view of membership invoices and payments across all chapters in your organization.
- From the settings hub, click the Billing card.
- Summary cards at the top show:
- Total Owed — the total amount invoiced across all chapters
- Total Paid — the total amount received
- Outstanding — the remaining balance
- Chapters — the number of chapters with invoices
- Use the search bar and status filter to find specific invoices.
- The invoice table shows: Invoice Number, Chapter, Members, Total Due, Paid, Balance, and Status.
- Click View on an invoice to open the detail modal.

From the invoice detail modal, you can:
- Issue Invoice — send a draft invoice to the chapter (available for invoices in Draft status)

- Void Invoice — cancel an invoice (this action cannot be undone)
Invoice Statuses
- Draft — not yet issued to the chapter
- Issued — sent and awaiting payment
- Paid — fully paid
- Partial — some payment received, balance remaining
- Overdue — past due date, not fully paid
- Void — cancelled
