CRM
Manage leads, activities, and sales pipelines.
The CRM is available to all admin roles. The leads and pipelines you see are scoped to your role and organization level.
Overview
The CRM (Customer Relationship Management) module helps you track recruitment leads, manage outreach activities, and move prospects through defined pipeline stages. It is designed for managing organizational growth -- recruiting new members, onboarding new chapters, engaging alumni, and coordinating with partners and sponsors.
Navigating to the CRM
Navigate to CRM in the main sidebar. The CRM page opens with a pipeline board view.
Pipelines
The CRM organizes leads into four pipelines, each with its own set of stages:
- Member Recruitment — track prospective members from initial contact through enrollment
- Chapter Recruitment — manage the process of establishing new chapters at schools
- Alumni Engagement — maintain relationships with former members
- Partners & Sponsors — manage corporate and organizational partnerships
Switch between pipelines using the tabs at the top of the page. Each tab shows its pipeline type icon and label.
Pipeline Board
Each pipeline displays a Kanban-style board where leads are organized into columns representing pipeline stages. Leads progress from left to right as they move through the recruitment or engagement process.
Viewing Leads
Each lead card on the board shows key information at a glance. Click on a lead card to open its full details, including contact information, notes, and activity history.
Filtering Leads
Use the filter bar below the pipeline tabs to narrow down the leads displayed on the board. Filters allow you to search and refine the view by various criteria.
Adding a Lead
- Click Add Lead at the top-right of the page.
- A form opens pre-scoped to the currently active pipeline.
- Fill in the lead details including contact information and any relevant notes.
- Click Save to add the lead to the first stage of the pipeline.
Moving Leads Through Stages
Leads can be moved between pipeline stages to reflect their progress:
- Drag a lead card from one column to another on the Kanban board.
- Alternatively, open the lead detail view and use the stage controls to advance or move the lead.
Activities
Activities are logged interactions with a lead, such as phone calls, emails, meetings, or notes.
Logging an Activity
- Open a lead's detail view by clicking on the lead card.
- Navigate to the activities section.
- Add a new activity with the type (call, email, meeting, note), date, and description.
- Activities are displayed in chronological order on the lead's detail view.
Activity Types
- Call — a phone conversation
- Email — an email exchange
- Meeting — an in-person or virtual meeting
- Note — a general note or observation
Deep Linking
The CRM supports deep linking from universal search results. When you click a CRM lead in search results, you are taken directly to the correct pipeline tab with the lead detail open.
