Integrations
Connect your CTSO Central account to third-party services like Zapier and Power Automate.
Overview
The Integrations page lets you connect your CTSO Central account to external automation platforms such as Zapier and Power Automate. Once connected, these services can access your CTSO Central data on your behalf to automate workflows, sync information, and trigger actions across tools.
Your organization's administrator must first enable integrations in System Settings. If you don't see an integration listed here, contact your admin to have it turned on.
Viewing Available Integrations
- Navigate to Settings in the sidebar
- Select Integrations
You will see a card for each integration that your administrator has enabled. Each card shows:
- The integration name and a brief description
- A status badge: Connected (green) or Not Connected
- Connection details such as the date you connected and when it was last used
If no integrations are enabled at the organization level, you will see a message reading "No integrations available."
Connecting an Integration
Each integration is connected from the third-party platform itself, not from within CTSO Central. The Integrations page shows instructions for each service:
- Zapier -- Add the CTSO Central integration from your Zapier dashboard and follow the authorization prompts.
- Power Automate -- Add the CTSO Central connector from your Power Automate environment and complete the sign-in flow.
When you authorize through the external platform, you will be redirected to CTSO Central to grant permissions. Once you approve, the integration shows as Connected on this page.
Disconnecting an Integration
If you no longer want a service to access your account:
- Find the integration on the Integrations page
- Click Disconnect
- In the confirmation dialog, click Disconnect to confirm
All active tokens for that integration are invalidated immediately. The third-party service will lose access to your CTSO Central data right away.
You can reconnect an integration at any time by going through the authorization flow again from the third-party platform.
What Integrations Can Do
Connected integrations interact with your CTSO Central data based on the permissions (scopes) you granted during authorization. Common capabilities include:
- Reading organization, chapter, and member data
- Triggering automated workflows when events occur in CTSO Central
- Syncing data between CTSO Central and other business tools
The specific permissions each integration requests are shown during the authorization flow.
